FBA order reported damaged by buyer

I’ve had an item returned stating packaging damaged so could not give as a gift. Fair enough, immediate refund from my account has been given by Amazon.

However this is FBA and the packaging was not damaged when I sent it in. Do I have to swallow the loss? Isn’t this one reason to pay the fees so that responsibility of damage in transit sits with Amazon ?

Feel lucky if you actually get the item back and its the same one you sent.

That is just wishful thinking on your part. If that is the only negative issue you have had then you are doing good.

Always remember this, when viewed thru the lens of a Big Tech company you are the chump and they are the winner, regardless of the scenario.
