Good evening,
I sent some products to Amazon, and they are a package of 5, put in bags and taped, many customers send me back returns, saying they only received one package out of 5, is it possible that Amazon will open my package of 5 and send only one package, or open them when they count them?
I don’t know how to do it, because last year I sent the same thing and I didn’t have any complaints, has anyone else experienced something like this?
Most likely, your packs were opened by the inbound team when they scanned them.
You should stick a label that says “Do not split” on them.
Open a case, explain the situation, and ask for a bin check.

Make sure that there are no barcodes of the contents visible from the outside of the pack. Just put the barcode for the multipack on the outside and the statement “Sold as a set - Do not split” as @masud530 said.

Yes, it’s possible that Amazon’s fulfillment center staff opened your multi-pack by mistake, especially if the packaging wasn’t clearly labeled as a set of 5 or was easy to open.
When inbound shipments are received, Amazon may inspect them, and if it’s unclear that your bag contains a bundled unit (e.g., no “Sold as Set” or “Do Not Separate” label), they might mistakenly treat it as individual items. This can lead to customers receiving only one out of the five units.
To avoid this, ensure each bundle is securely sealed, labeled clearly with “This is a set – Do not separate,” and listed in Seller Central as a multi-pack (not individual units). You can also consider using Amazon’s prep services or request a bin check if the issue persists.

What are the chances that my customers will return all my products if they are missing the label and received split?
Just open a case and discuss it with them. Tell them what happened and see if they can help.
What if I open a case, and they tell me to withdraw all the products and bring them home? Because there are about 3 pallets.
Don’t worry, Amazon usually won’t ask you to remove pallets unless there’s a bigger compliance issue.
