Iam 7-8 year Amazon Seller doing wholesale in Grocery and Beauty categories.
Since I verified Inform Act (actually I dont know if this is the reason but I guess) Iam restricted on listing most ASIN which before I was able to list. On most of them it says “Your account does not qualify” is that just a glitch or what? This really slow down my business. Even ASINs listed on my inventory which I was successfully selling from years now some of them are gated for me and I cant send inventory or relist them as it says ”Your account does not qualify” for already listed ASIN.
Please if someone had this issue and resolve this to help me.
Look, if they don’t want you around then just move to another platform.
What is working around here is the ebay and amazon sellers are going back to the flea markets, farmers markets and selling their goods. Yesterday I was at a farmers market a few miles away from us. Small operation,HOWEVER, I was checking it out for about an hour. Within that hour several vendors sold more product than we sell in a few days on ebay and amazon combined…
Most certainly it is time for us to ditch the online marketplaces and go to where the buyers are spending money. Plus, its all sold and not coming back or being ripped off by activist buyers.
I don’t think this has anything to do with your passing of the INFORM Act. It happens from time to time. Try clearing your cache and cookies, using a different browser of maybe give it a few days.
The way everything is inter-mingled with the alphabet/google and the search engines its is very hard to have “your own space”. amazon is one of the biggest bullies of the search engine scene, only way to break out is to use the old school advertising channels.
If you have all of your customer addresses from the last 8 years and your product line is focused just do a mailing. Make up some nice advertising and along with some really good pricing and let it rip.
FYI, you can do a good mailing for what you were spending on fees.
