Wise alternatives

Hi Sellers,
Good morning!

Since WISE is no longer providing US balances and our country is also on WISE’s restricted list, I’ve been searching for alternatives to stay active in this field. I came across two banks, both FDIC insured and open to residents of our country for business accounts:

  1. Brex
  2. Slash

I’d like to know if any of you have experience with either of them. Which one would you recommend? My main goal is to receive payments from my Amazon clients, and later on, I plan to use this business bank account for my own Amazon business as well.

Looking forward to your valuable comments. Thanks in advance!

You can use Slash or Payoneeer and Mercury

Both Brex and Slash are becoming popular alternatives for international Amazon sellers who’ve been affected by Wise’s restrictions, and each has its strengths.

Brex is well-established, highly professional, and geared toward startups with higher volumes, offering virtual cards, spend controls, and solid integrations, but they’ve become more selective and sometimes require proof of U.S. operations, such as a U.S.-based team or significant business presence.

Slash, on the other hand, is newer and more flexible, especially for e-commerce sellers and freelancers outside the U.S., with fast onboarding and fewer documentation hurdles.

Many sellers in similar situations have found Slash easier to open and maintain if you’re outside the U.S. without a physical presence.

If your main goal is receiving Amazon disbursements and growing into your own Amazon business, Slash might be more accessible to get started, while Brex could be a good upgrade down the line if your operation scales and meets their stricter criteria.

Just make sure the account you choose supports ACH payments and allows receiving funds from Amazon without issues.
