Why do people use multiple tools?

I still don’t understand why people use 3 to 4 different tools and pay more.

I think the value of this app is $30–40/month max , and they’re charging $220. It needs to be priced lower than Scan Unlimited, and definitely lower than Analyzer.Tools, which offers way more data and can handle hundreds of thousands of products at once, not just 10K. This is basically just Keepa with a fresh coat of paint.

I have used a lot of different tools, and I can honestly say there is nothing like this on the market. It might be pricey, but now I only spend 2-3 hours per month finding products. So, it’s worth it.

Maybe they don’t pay more because other tools are better. Astro costs nearly $100 per month, while you can get great tools like Keepa for just $20 a month. In fact, Keepa allows even more requests for significantly less money.

People use multiple Amazon tools because no single tool covers everything perfectly, and each one tends to specialize in a specific area, for example, Keepa is great for price history and sales rank tracking, SellerAmp is good for quick product analysis and profit calculation, Tactical Arbitrage helps with sourcing, and InventoryLab assists with listing and accounting. While some tools offer overlapping features, sellers often find that using a combination gives them more accurate data, better insights, or faster workflows, especially when doing Online Arbitrage, Wholesale, or Private Label at scale. It does cost more, but many justify it as an investment in efficiency and decision-making.

I only use Keepa, and for sheet scanning, I buy Scan Unlimited from the tool seller. It costs me around 1500, and I easily save more than £50 a month. If you have a company and a team of 4–5 people, then these expensive tools are worth it. Otherwise, no other tool has data as accurate as Keepa, so I rely solely on it, you just need a good eye to read the graphs.

I’m using it and I know exactly what it can do, so I’m paying for the value it provides and I’d be willing to pay even more if needed. The tools you’re mentioning aren’t even close to ASTRO. Also, does your Keepa do profit calculation if you’re praising it for its pricing? I shared it because I genuinely found value in it and wanted others to benefit as well. If you’re not open to progress or new tools, that’s your choice, just don’t complain when you’re stuck struggling in the trenches.

Yeah, anyone who’s serious about their business is missing a huge opportunity if they’re not making advancements. In today’s world, time is the most valuable asset and if you can get more done in less time, you’ll see massive growth. I agree that you can save some £££, but is that really helping your business grow if you’re just cutting costs without improving efficiency or scaling? Advancing your business should always take priority over just saving money.

You’re using it, I’m using it, and so are many other sellers, we all know its value. And if we compare its capabilities to its price, I’d actually say it’s not expensive at all.

I think it’s important to make it clear that ASTRO isn’t just a replacement for Keepa—its main function is actually scanning sheets. If we look at the cost of tools in the market, for example, Scan Unlimited alone is $100, Keepa is around $20, and a profit calculation tool like Selleramp is about $28 per month. Altogether, that’s nearly $150 per month. Now, if you compare the time it takes to do product research using all those tools versus ASTRO, the difference is huge. With ASTRO, you can load thousands of products, apply a few filters, and instantly find your winning products ready to purchase. Plus, you don’t need Excel or any other software to prepare your PO, which could cost another $20, because that’s built into ASTRO too. And on top of that, you don’t need to pay for separate accounts for each team member like you do with Keepa. Everyone on your team can use the same ASTRO account, potentially saving you $60 to $90 or even more, depending on your team size.

I’ve used this software, Keepa is a small fraction of what it’s capable of.

ASTRO will save you a lot of time, it’s an all-in-one product. I’ve already let go of two of my VAs because I no longer need them.

I just use Keepa for 20USD and Code2asin for free to scan large lists. Saves a lot of money.

I’ve created my own excel sheet for scanning the entire supplier sheet I’m using that since a year. I can sell that cheaper from this tool.

How’s its accuracy? And how much does it cost?
