Who provides the safety data sheets?

Hi everyone,

I need your advice. For cosmetic products, is it the responsibility of the supplier or manufacturer to provide safety data sheets if requested by consumers or retailers like us?

We are based in Europe btw.

I would imagine it is the manufacturer, distributor or importer. Most probably, the “Responsible Person” that is listed on the item.

Has any of your customers requested a sds from you ?

If you need one I would first search on Google, you might be lucky to find one. If no luck ask your supplier and the brand/manufacturer.

Its a bit of pot luck . Some do send it and others don’t.

As @uman786 said, try Google first.

Amazon asked for it. We want a product to be unlabeled as HAZMAT.
