I have something to know. If I place an order to manufacture products with my registered trademark through Alibaba and ask them to provide me products images & video, can the manufacturer upload those without my consent to their online store ethically or legally?
You will need to hire an attorney to answer that one. It is a very complex issue and it would be in
your best interest to take your own photos and upload them.
Usually, whoever took / created the images owns the rights, regardless of whom the products
belonged, unless you signed an agreement demonstrating otherwise.
If you merely asked the supplier to create the images and they have done so for free, then they
are the rights owner.
As @skeeter says, it would be reasonable to consult an attorney. It is likely that the supplier would be willing to agree to something as long as they don’t want to risk damaging their relations
with you as their client.
