Hello,

We’ve identified that some of your product listings don’t have Country of Origin information.

European Union and United Kingdom customs legislation legally requires Amazon to collect Country of Origin information for products in all of your selling stores shipped through FBA Export programs from non-EU countries into the EU, and into the UK.

In the coming months, product listings without a Country of Origin will start to be restricted from cross-border sales. To lift the restriction, you can acknowledge that you’ll provide missing information by December 31, 2024.

From December 31, 2024, product listings without Country of Origin information will be restricted from cross-border sales until the required information is provided.

To provide country of origin information:

  1. Go to Manage All Inventory to upload by product; or
  2. Go to Add Products via Upload to upload in bulk.

Please repeat the same process for all of your selling stores.

If you don’t know your product’s Country of Origin, contact your supplier.

For more information and instructions, go to Providing Country of Origin information for your products.

Regards,

I also got that some weeks ago.

Have you sorted to add to all your listings?

I ignored the email as I don’t sell in the UK/EU.

Has anyone managed to update the required information? I haven’t yet, but I don’t want to leave it until it’s too late, something I have a habit of doing. Is this only mandatory for cross-border selling?

Day by day amazon is changing their policies.

It’s not Amazon; it’s the government that makes laws, making everything harder for small sellers.

Oh, right.

I have but still get the occasional email from Amazon.

Download the Category Listings Report in the Reports : Inventory Reports page and update the COO there. Then upload it.

If you don’t see that report in the dropdown, contact Seller Support and ask them to enable it for you.

It sounds like this is the notice from the Amazon US platform. It means that unless you fill all these fields, the impacted listings won’t be eligible for cross-border sales.
