When receiving an official invoice from a supplier to ungate certain brands or categories, my prep center’s address will be shown on the invoice’s shipping address section since the products will be sent from the supplier to prep center. However, the real location of my LLC (which is obviously different from my prep center’s address) is recorded in the address section on the Amazon Seller Central. This situation creates a suspicion because the address I gave on the invoice does not match the address I wrote in the seller central. How can I fix that issue? Is there a place to add a new address on amazon seller central where I can add the prep center’s address in addition to my LLC’s address?
It will be enough if the address is displayed as the billing address. This is how it should be.
Could you ask them to place your address into that field? It could be also the buyer address field.
When receiving an invoice from a supplier for ungating purposes, ensure that your LLC’s registered address, which matches the one in Amazon Seller Central, appears in the billing section of the invoice, while the prep center’s address can be listed as the shipping address. This is a common practice, and Amazon mainly verifies the billing address to confirm your business identity. While Amazon does not have a specific section to add a secondary business address, you can include your prep center’s address under the return address section in Seller Central. If Amazon questions the discrepancy, you can explain that your products are processed through a third-party prep center before being sent to Amazon fulfillment centers, which is a standard practice among sellers.
