Does anyone here have any preferences for the best platform to advertise a new FBA product on? i.e., facebook, Meta, MarketPlace, google, Amazon PPC, etc. (for pay per click I think you need a certain number of positive reviews before you can apply for that type of promotion).
When it comes to advertising a new FBA product, it really depends on your target audience and marketing goals. Facebook and Amazon PPC can be effective options to consider. For Facebook, you can target specific demographics and interests, while Amazon PPC allows you to reach customers actively searching for products. As for the review requirement for PPC, it’s always good to have positive reviews, but it’s not always a strict requirement.
I think I want to start with Meta (facebook) first but I’m still trying to learn the best way to go about it. My product it very different. It’s my understanding that PPC is for people who are looking for a specific type product. I’ll let you know when I’m ready for some help. Thanks for the input.
PPC was one of the most confusing things for me when I started Amazon.
At first, I thought running ads was simple. Just turn them on and sales will come automatically. But I quickly realized that PPC is a completely different skill set.
It is not just about spending money on ads, it is about understanding keywords, analyzing search terms, and continuously optimizing campaigns based on performance.
I made mistakes in the beginning like using broad targeting, ignoring negative keywords, and not analyzing reports properly, which led to wasted budget.
But over time, I understood that PPC is not an expense if done correctly. It becomes a powerful investment that helps you rank your product and build organic sales.
