When selecting a prep center, do you prefer to choose one in the same state as your supplier, or do you stick with a trusted prep center even if it's located in a different state?

I often find it difficult to consistently find both a supplier and a reliable prep center in the same state. I’d be interested to hear what approach others are taking.

What’s generally considered the best practice among sellers?

Choosing a supplier in a tax free state is most important.

Even though most suppliers you can give a tax exempt for to, sometimes you find deals at 3am and don’t want to wait until you can submit a tax exempt form and be approved.

You can also find distributors that ship direct to Amazon with your fnsku so prep center is not required for this source.

It’s better to choose a reliable prep center.

Thank you so much for your detailed answer.

It’s generally best to choose a reliable prep center, even if it’s in a different state, rather than trying to match it with your supplier’s location. This way, you ensure quality and consistency in your prep work.
