What's the best way to get around buying a hundred to get ungated?

I’ve done this several times for the invoice and then get knocked back still? Then left with stock?

Have you tried other ASINs? Sometimes you can find one where Amazon only requires 10 units. If all of them require 100, then the only option is to buy the cheapest item from that brand from a retailer that provides a proper invoice (such as Amazon, Argos, Boots, Notino, etc.) and use that to get ungated, then return the items. I know it’s not ideal, but I’m not sure what else can be done.

That’s false information. Amazon no longer accepts retail invoices, and it has started gating at the ASIN level even within the same brand. You should also never return items used for ungating, as Amazon checks this and you risk losing your account.

People still manage to get ungated with retail invoices, and as always, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I know this for sure.

I recently tried with Notino, and Amazon rejected the retailer invoice.

It probably only works when there’s a glitch and Amazon ungates accounts through a blank page.

This is why it’s good to try your luck with Amazon. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes you upload a proper invoice from a large wholesaler and it still gets rejected.

So there’s no clear answer then? I know that sometimes one product only ungates a single ASIN rather than the entire brand, whereas I’m sure it used to apply more broadly. It also seems that Amazon now requires invoices for most ASINs, whereas this wasn’t always the case.
