What's the best option?

Hi ya’ll!

I have a business trip planned for 3 days. I won’t be able to ship MN but I want to leave the FBA listings active while I’m away.

Should I simply select all merchant fulfilled listings and switch to inactive until I return?

TIA

Yes, temporarily switching your merchant fulfilled listings to inactive while you’re away on your business trip is a practical solution to ensure you won’t be responsible for fulfilling orders during that time. This way, you can maintain your FBA listings without interruption and resume merchant fulfillment once you return. Just remember to reactivate the listings when you’re back to avoid any potential loss of sales. Safe travels!

Yes, just put your listings on holiday/vacation mode.

3 things to remember:

  1. any pending orders you have might convert to actual orders during that time. You might wish to be ready for that, if possible, eg by taking the items with you to post when you are away or asking someone else to despatch them for you
  2. any messages you receive still need to be answered. Make sure you have the Amazon Seller Central app on your phone
  3. remember to reactivate the listings shortly before you get back

You cannot turn off FBA listings.

Vacation settings or keep receiving orders as long as your handling time allows it. The maximum handling time you can set is 30 days

Turn on Vacation mode and enjoy your trip

Thanks, I knew about vacation mode but I thought it impacted all listings. Nice to know that I was wrong in that assumption.

Yes, set to vacation mode which has no effect on FBA.
