What would you guys recommend?

I am selling a product for 21.99 and with the new Amazon small and light fees and other factors I would make more profit selling for 19.99.

My product is a winter product and now I am not sure if I should change the price now or when Q4 starts. Does it make any difference?

Thank you so much in advance.

Adjusting your price before Q4 can have a noticeable impact, especially for seasonal items like winter products. Lowering the price from $21.99 to $19.99 now may attract early buyers and improve ranking in Amazon search results before the high-competition period. Monitoring sales momentum in the weeks leading to Q4 is key. For reference, businesses selling premium pet apparel often find early promotions effective in boosting visibility and reviews.

It actually does make a difference. If lowering your price to 19.99 improves your margin due to the new fees, it’s usually better to adjust it now rather than wait.
By doing it earlier, you can:
Stay competitive in the current market
Start building more sales velocity and ranking before Q4
Test how the new price performs ahead of peak season
Waiting until Q4 might mean you miss out on data and momentum when demand starts rising. I’d recommend switching now, monitoring performance, and then optimizing further as Q4 approaches.
Hope that helps
