What would you do if a brand asked you to stop selling their products?

I’ve received a Seller Notice from a brand I recently ungated using a distributor’s invoice. I only sent 10 units to Amazon, but the brand has flagged me as an unauthorized seller and is asking for proof of authorization or to remove the listings.

My questions are:
What’s the best way to handle this? I’m confident the distributor is legitimate, and the products are authentic.
If I choose to remove the listings, should I pull the inventory first, then delete the listings? What’s the proper procedure? For now, I’ve deactivated the listings to prevent any sales.
Will this situation affect my account?

Your current unauthorized sales of xxxx products expose you to potential federal and state law liability and risks your Amazon selling privileges, If you believe that you have received this letter in error and you are an Authorized Reseller, please either:

a) attach evidence of your Authorization, or proof of authorized purchase to this message. After the receipt of this documentation, your case will be reviewed; and/or

b) respond to this message with all relevant documentation, or forward correspondence to: xxxx

We will not pursue further action against you if you correct the violations by removing all xxxxx from your Amazon store or listing the products as “Used - Like New” to reflect that the products do not qualify for product warranty, within 5 days of the date of this letter.

You can delete the listing, which will cause your inventory to become stranded, allowing you to create removal orders.

Close and delete the listing. Then, get in touch with the brand directly, provide your invoice, and request permission to sell their products. You could also explore opening a trade account with them for a more official partnership.

You can contact this brand and remove this violation. Usually, if you tell brands that you will not sell this product again, they withdraw their violations. Maybe it will be the beginning of a bigger business. We don’t know that. I hope so
