What would be the best way to send these products to Amazon to avoid issues later?

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a question about oversized packages.

We have packages with dimensions of 76x29x63 cm, and as far as I know, the weight is below 23 kg. I understand that the longest side should generally not exceed 63.5 cm.

Each package contains only one product. Should we consider shipping them on pallets, or are there other things we should keep in mind?

Thanks for the help!

If the individual item exceeds 63.5cm, then the package size can suit the item so it can be bigger than 63.5cm.

What you can’t do is send boxes that exceed 63.5cm if nothing inside is bigger than 63.5cm.

Depending on the quantity you are sending, shipping on pallets may be beneficial to you.

I have some items that are 80cm long but I only send 3-4 at a time so I just add a large box or 2 in the oversize shipment together with other oversize items. I just put in 2 of the 80cm items in the bigger boxes and add smaller oversize items to fill the boxes, otherwise they would be too heavy.

One product per box at a time if the dimensions are above 63.5 cm.

Pallets are not necessary. If you are worried that the goods will be damaged during transportation, you can protect your products by using pallets.

Thank you so much and sending to FBA should be mandatory on pallets or it doesn’t matter and can be sent also as packages? I heard about them issuing warnings for wrong type of packaging.

You send to FBA whichever way you want and which suits the products.

That’s quite possible but nothing to do with your question.

I send packages and never sent pallets so I have never heard of any problems.
