What steps do you take to keep the on-time delivery rate within the required limit for FBM orders?

It feels nearly impossible for me, I’ve had orders marked as late even though they arrived on the expected date, likely due to time zone differences.

How do you handle this issue and make sure your metrics stay in check?

I’m guessing you’re in doing FBM in the USA?

In the UK it isn’t so much of a problem and if it is then perhaps you just need to mess around with your shipping template.

To maintain a healthy on-time delivery rate for FBM orders, I always ship out packages as early as possible within the handling time window and use reliable carriers that offer tracking with timely updates so Amazon can detect movement promptly. I make sure tracking numbers are uploaded as soon as the label is created, and I double-check the time zone settings in my shipping templates to ensure accurate cutoff times. In cases where deliveries were on time but marked late, I open a case with Seller Support and provide tracking proof showing the actual delivery date, which often helps in getting metrics adjusted. Consistently using expedited methods or adjusting handling times based on destination zones can also buffer against time zone-related issues and keep your metrics clean.

I use usps since they are mostly the cheapest. What carriers are you using?

Yes, in the US.

Ah, ok sorry can’t help in that case.

I make use of FBA ( Amazon covers up for shipping and delivery so I don’t have to worry too much ).

FBA orders are taking too long to get delivered and become available, almost a month, so I’m trying FBM for now.

Oooh, that sounds like a really bad experience with them.
The last delivery I had took about 8 days.
What do you sell?

I am into food.

Can’t you increase your handling time? Wouldn’t this protect your metrics?
