What should I do now? Any suggestions?

I have a listing violation issue. Amazon says I cannot sell the product because it violates trademark rules. The listing was open to me as a new seller, and I checked Keepa, there are many sellers and good monthly sales. That’s why I listed my product under the same listing.

I don’t understand how others can sell it while I cannot.

There’s alot of factors why other sellers were able to sell under that specific brand, there’s a possibility that they were given permission to sell under the brand.

Normally with this kind of violation it requires approval from the brand owner to sell under their brand name.

Check the violations in your manage inventory page, from there you will see what documentation you need or next step.

Or check your performance notifications, from there you will also see the things you will need to do to get it resolved.

You can remove the listing to keep your account safe. Try to obtain brand authorization before you list any products.

Looks like the brand filed an IP complaint. Some sellers stay active because they have a Letter of Authorization or brand approval.

The best thing you can do is delete the listing, appeal with proof of authenticity or an invoice, and avoid that brand next time.

Always check SellerAmp’s IP alert before listing.

Did you get only one ASIN hit or more?

Yes, that’s trademark/IP issue. The others might have brand approval or LOA. Don’t appeal direct, remove listing first then check if brand in IP Alert or SellerAmp shows warning. Have you got any notice email from Amazon side?

This happens quite often because Amazon’s enforcement isn’t always consistent across sellers, so a listing can stay open and even have multiple offers while new sellers get blocked if the brand has issued takedown notices or restricted listings more recently.

In many cases, older sellers were grandfathered in or have authorization documents on file, while new accounts get automatically restricted. It can also be that the brand has a gating agreement with Amazon, meaning only approved resellers can list, and you’re just seeing the few who are authorized.

The best thing to do is open a case and ask if the listing is brand restricted or requires authorization, and if so, request the procedure for approval.

If Amazon confirms it’s trademark-related and there’s no path to authorization, then it’s best not to push it because continuing to list could risk an IP complaint, which hurts account health.

It’s possible that other sellers have brand authorization.

If you don’t, remove your listing immediately to keep your account safe, and in the future, sell only brand-free or authorized products.

If you did not receive a complaint from the rights owner directly, then it could be a suspected complaint. Was the whole listing taken down or just your own offer?

Twisted Amazon process as always. How do you get a brand authorization?
