A few days ago I woke up with an email from amazon saying that my account was deactivated, this for the UK market, as I only sold on DE in accordance with section 3 for a product that I don’t have sold for almost a year.
They asked me for the invoice from the distributor to prove all the units sold in the last year, I sent one, and now they are asking for the invoice from the distributor because they say they couldn’t verify it.
Share the notification mail that you received from amazon in response of submitting invoice.
They are requesting supply chain documents from third party supplier of your distributor because Amazon couldn’t verify invoice you provided. If you are unable to produce one then unfortunately your account will be deactivated. Ask your distributor to provide you supply chain documents.
We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. We cannot accept this invoice because we are unable to verify the supplier.
How can I reactivate my account?
You can reactivate your account by sending
us the following required documents and information from your supplier’s supplier:
Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders or authorization letters from your supplier’s supplier issued in the last
365 days.
If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation to prove a valid supply chain.
If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
These documents must include:
Contact information for your supplier’s supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.
A description of the item.
Your supplier or supplier’s supplier should have a strong web presence that can be verified through government sources, such as a business or tax registration number, if applicable, or other credible third-party sources such as official brand websites or business directories.
Amazon is asking for the supplier’s supplier invoice, right? There’s a low chance your supplier will share this with you, but there’s always a way—considering how many people have overcome Section 3 without providing the supplier’s supplier invoice. We can try to find a solution. Show Amazon your order history, proof of purchase, bank transactions, proof of delivery emails, and any other legitimate proof you have. Organize them into one file and submit them along with a written appeal that explains all the details clearly.
Okay, this case is very challenging, but it can be resolved.
First, contact your supplier and explain the situation. Show them your order history and request invoices, but it’s not an easy process. There’s a 90% chance they won’t provide them, but sometimes they do.
Contact the brand’s support team and inform them that you purchased from their authorized supplier.
