I need some help. One of my shipments was closed, but all my units have been stuck in Reserve for more than a week after the shipment was closed.
Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
All you can do is wait till the shipment is open for reconcillation.
Transfers during Q4 can easily take weeks or even months, and there’s generally nothing you can do to speed them up.
Once you ship to FBA, it usually takes anywhere from one week to several weeks, and in some cases even longer, for units to be fully distributed to the correct fulfillment centers for next-day delivery.
This year has been relatively fast compared to previous years, but last year many sellers didn’t see their Q4 shipments checked in until January even though they were sent in November or December, meaning they completely missed the peak season.
That’s why the practical Q4 deadline is usually early November. Right now most sellers are already preparing and sending January stock.
If you still have Q4 inventory in hand at this point, it’s safer to switch to Merchant Fulfilled because sending to FBA today in December may mean missing the remaining seasonal sales.
