For me, the value of my refunds is approx 10-12% of my gross profit - and I’m not selling any clothes/shoes.

10 ~12 % is very high .

Mine is around 3 % and from my experience this is the average across all sellers .

Ours is about 8%, bit we’ve shifted towards higher ticket items (£100+) and have noticed an increase since doing so.

2.62% only clothing I sell is socks. I also only sell on listings with a 3 or higher rating.

What category do you sell on?

My refund rate is so low that don’t even mention it. I’ve been selling on Amazon for 21 years now and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to refund. It is that rare.

I would say 5% (I am selling jewelry and toys)

1.6% in FBA. Not sure about FBM. Selling in Home.
