I would let him/her know that selling on Amazon can be pretty lucrative, if you invest enough time and effort in finding the right products. Also, all great wins started small, so celebrate each win no matter how big or small it is.

Amazon product research in 2025 requires data-driven strategies, strong differentiation, and trend awareness. Sellers must leverage tools like Jungle Scout to analyze demand, competition, and emerging niches. Unique private label products with clear value propositions help stand out in a saturated market. Sourcing remains challenging, demanding reliable suppliers and quality control. Monitoring trends like “dupe culture” ensures products align with shifting consumer preferences. Compliance with Amazon’s policies, honest reviews, and listing authenticity build trust. Additionally, integrating AI and tech-driven insights enhances research accuracy. Staying updated through Amazon’s Best Sellers list and tools is crucial for sustained growth and profitability.

Start slowly, stay focused, and treat it like a real business from day one—don’t try to scale too fast or chase every shiny object; instead, master the basics, understand your numbers, and stay consistent with product research, listings, and customer service because momentum builds with discipline, not shortcuts.
