What is the current process when booking a pallet with Amazon Parterned carrier?

Do you still have to book the collection separately using UPS SCS or when you click confirm carrier, it automatically books the collection for you and it’s just the 4 outside labels required and BOL when it’s ready?

When you create a pallet or LTL shipment using Amazon’s Partnered Carrier option during the Send to Amazon workflow, Amazon will assign a carrier and give you estimated costs and pickup windows as part of that step, but it does not automatically schedule the truck to come pick up your pallets for you just by clicking confirm in Seller Central, and you still must handle the collection booking with the carrier (for example UPS SCS or the LTL carrier) yourself unless you already have a scheduled pickup set up or use a service that includes it.

In the Partnered Carrier LTL/FTL process Amazon will generate the Bill of Lading (BOL) on the morning of the pickup date and you will see that in the Track Shipment tab, and you will need the four outside pallet labels plus the BOL ready for the driver when they arrive; you should contact UPS SCS or your carrier to schedule the actual collection if you don’t already have a standing pickup, or drop the pallets at a designated location if you don’t plan to schedule pickup from your site.

Partnered Carrier simplifies pricing and transport selection within Seller Central and gives you tracking and integrated BOL, but the physical pickup booking is still your responsibility unless you arrange otherwise with the carrier.
