What happens if I delete a listing while the item is in transit to Amazon?

I sent an incorrect item to Amazon, and it’s currently in transit. Three units are pending but haven’t been paid for yet. What should I do in this situation?

Also, what would happen if I delete the listing before the item gets checked in?

Thanks!

If you delete the listing, it will go into stranded. Then you can create a removal order.

Will the already purchased pending ones go stranded too?

The purchased ones? No. Open a case with Amazon and see if they can cancel it.

Your inventory will go in stranded.

If you sent the wrong item to Amazon and it’s still in transit, deleting the listing won’t stop the shipment from being received at the fulfillment center. Once the shipment is checked in, the inventory will become stranded because it’s no longer linked to an active listing. In this case, you’ll need to either recreate the listing to resolve the stranded inventory or initiate a removal order to get the incorrect items returned to you. To prevent further issues, it’s best to wait for the inventory to arrive and then address the situation by either correcting the listing or removing the items.
