I haven’t used any marketing tools yet. I’m on a private label model with FBA. But I’m not managing to sell. I am not sure what to do
You have to pay for advertising, or you definitely won’t sell anything. And then, when you do pay for advertising, all of your profits go straight to Jeff Bezos. The whole thing is a scam, sorry to tell you. By the time you pay your advertising fees and your monthly FBA fees, there’s never any profit. The only ones profiting are the Chinese factories we buy the stuff from and Jeff Bezos, normal sellers can’t compete.
For your campaign to work effectively, you need to optimize your listing, meaning you should include the right keywords for your product. It’s best to use a tool like Helium 10 to find those keywords. Then you create a well-optimized listing. After that, you launch your Amazon ad campaign. If you have a good product, good images, and a well-optimized listing, the ads will kickstart sales. At first, advertising will drive sales, and later you’ll grow organically. However, this process can take up to six months. In my case, the ads run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. After that, you just keep optimizing.
If you’re on a private label FBA and not getting sales yet, start with listing optimization (titles, bullets, images, keywords), then run Amazon PPC campaigns to get initial visibility. Encourage early reviews via safe methods (like Amazon’s “Request a Review”), and consider external traffic from social media or influencers. Monitor which keywords convert and adjust bids. Sales usually start slowly, so focus on improving discoverability and conversion rather than waiting for organic sales alone.
