I assume purchase them and account for them into your cost? any tips? … other than save the amazon boxes they send you to your personal stuff to reuse for fba. 
Normally we count $1 for that cost and then we check our profit margins And final any product
The box should not be damaged & you can use any box to send to Amazon

Amazon boxes are too “flimsy” for us. We purchase new cartons for shipping to FBA from Uline. While we have a huge assortment of boxes, we find that 19 x 13 x 13 inch boxes work for the majority of our products.
It also makes it much easier to enter Box Content Information.
