Hello,

How would you explain a situation where a seller joins my FBA listing but suddenly disappears, even though I was winning the Buy Box and they had around 10 units in stock?

I’ve noticed the same thing happening with another listing.

How can this happen, considering that FBA products are stored in Amazon’s warehouses?

@Raggarty I have a lot of follow up questions from your post in order to provide you with definite answers:

  1. Are you selling on retail stores like Costco, Bestbuy, Target, Walmart?
  2. Did you notice if the other sellers are on FBA too? Most of the time, they’d be on FBM.

These cases usually happen around or after big sale days like the recent Black Friday-Cyber Monday sale. When you reduce your price, you open a risk of arbitrage - it is important to consider that when discounting.

They may have had the listing blocked OR placed into FC processing, this means that it appears as inactive, while they have the stock in their account.

Once items are checked in they appear as available. A short time later they disappear as they get redistributed. Then reappear when they arrive.
