What are your current best methods for ungating?

From what I understand, some brands require 10 units for ungating, while others require 50 units. Is there any way to know how many units are needed for a specific brand or category before attempting the process?

Additionally, when purchasing units from major websites for ungating purposes, if the website only provides a receipt and refuses to issue an invoice, have you had any success with ungating? Or does Amazon only approve ungating requests if an invoice is submitted?

We have a top-notch account with great metrics, high velocities, and strong sales, but we are still somewhat uncertain about the best current practices for ungating in tougher categories like dietary supplements, beauty, etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can click on the ungating option and check how many units they ask for before purchasing. Otherwise, you won’t know.

You need an invoice from a wholesale supplier. Sometimes, it works if you provide one from retailers, but it’s not guaranteed.

As for the best methods for ungating, hmm, just get the invoice and apply, I’ve never tried anything else.

I know you moved away from certain categories. Have you chosen to do the same or are you still selling most of the same types of products you were a few months ago? If so, where are you finding most success in ungating those types of brands?

I moved away from beauty /cosmetics/suppliments and focus on other categories.
