Hello Community,
which tool is the best for a beginner and why?
Helium10, Jungle scout or Data dive?
Thank you for feedback
Both are good, it depends on your needs. If you want to research a product, you can use Helium 10, then use Viral Launch to check its stats, and Jungle Scout to understand the demand for the product in the market where you want to sell.
These tools are not 100% accurate, but they help you get a general sense of whether a product might be good or bad.
To be honest, as a beginner, it’s difficult to judge this on your own, and an experienced person would usually be better able to assess it.
I might be in the minority here, but for beginners the tool usually matters less than people think.
I’ve seen new sellers get overwhelmed by Helium, Jungle Scout, and similar tools, simply because they try to use everything at once.
If you’re just starting out, the “best” tool is often the one you’ll actually understand and use consistently, not the one with the most features.
Any of these tools can work, what really matters is keeping your process simple in the beginning.
Could you please let me know about your Business Model?
My business model is arbitrage or wholesale.
Thank you for the tips so far!
For a beginner, Helium 10 is generally the easiest and most complete starting point because it combines product research, keyword research, listing optimization, profit calculators, and inventory tools all in one platform with lots of tutorials; Jungle Scout is also excellent and often slightly more beginner-friendly specifically for product discovery and sales estimates, but it’s a bit narrower in scope, while Data Dive (by Viral Launch) has strong data too but isn’t as intuitive or as fully featured as the others for newcomers.
In short, Helium 10 tends to win for most beginners because it offers the broadest set of tools with guided workflows and educational content, Jungle Scout is a very solid alternative especially if your primary focus is product research, and Data Dive is useful as a supplemental data source once you’re more experienced.
There is one another tool (www.listora.ai) with lot of features, please try that and its very less expensive compare to all others. they have lot of features like bulk inventory updates, bulk pricing updates, bulk offer matches, monitoring restritioncs, buy box alerts, auto-repricer and more.
