Hi everyone!

Generally, you don’t need approval to sell most products on Amazon, but certain categories may require approval before listing them.
If you are selling products that fall under these categories, you will need to apply for approval before you can list them on Amazon. You can apply for approval by following these steps:
Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account.
Select “Inventory” and then “Add a Product”.
Search for the product you want to sell.
If the product requires approval, you will see a message indicating that you need to apply for approval before you can list the product.
If your products do not fall under any of the restricted categories, you can list them without any prior approval.
Hi Elyse, just remember rule of thumb:
Amazon asks certifications for some categories which involve direct usage on skin etc, like beauty makeups, children toys etc products and for products containing batteries.
Secondly don’t go for fragile and seasonal products. For seasonal products you can check it from H10 search volume graph and Google trends
