We've initiated a reimbursement of 0.00 USD for the missing units

We’ve initiated a reimbursement of 0.00 USD for the missing units. If we find units in our fulfillment centers with the same FNSKU, condition, and expiration date (if relevant) as the lost or damaged units, we may transfer these units to your inventory instead of paying you the replacement value. For example, if we have previously reimbursed you for a lost unit that was subsequently found in our network, we may use the found unit to satisfy a future claim that you may have for that product. If these units are added to your inventory, you can view this transaction in the Inventory Adjustment report:

Challenge their figure and see what answer you get back. It could be just a simple mistake but knowing Amazon, there’s probably a reason behind this.

Amazon has become greedy thieves over the years. Their business plan has always been to ruin its own customers (sellers) and take over their own marketplace. They are simply thieving from their own customers! Perhaps the best business model on the planet: offer your customers a service, then steal from them.
