Effective March 27, in the interest of safety, water beads that are targeted or intended for use by children are prohibited for sale on Amazon.
Water beads (also referred to as “sensory beads” or “gel beads”) are typically small, colorful, super-absorbent polymer crystals that grow to 1-4 inches in diameter, or up to 1500 times their original size, when placed in water. They pose a serious health hazard, if swallowed.
