Most Amazon sellers look at search volume… but they miss the real question:
What page is your keyword actually ranking on?
I recently built a Keyword Master List for a client, and here’s what we found:
-
Keyword at Rank 3 → Page 1 (that’s visibility you want to defend)
-
Keyword at Rank 97 → Page 3 (needs a push to move closer to the buyer’s eye)
-
Keyword at Rank 119 → Page 5 (almost invisible)
Once you know this, the path forward becomes clear.
-
Double down on keywords already on Page 1 to keep them there.
-
Push mid-rank keywords with PPC and fresh SEO content.
-
Rebuild weak ones with relevancy, backend terms, and A+ content.
Amazon SEO isn’t just about “using keywords.”
It’s about knowing where you stand and what move comes next.
