when you register for VAT (I added the VAT number to the Seller account), do I still have to notify Amazon that I am registered for VAT or is it enough just to add the VAT number to the account?

By adding it, you are notifying them.

Thank you. It’s all done and verified. My question was if I do need to do anything else apart from this?
Have all your documentation ready as you will have to go through verification at some point.
Once you add your VAT number to your Seller account, it should be sufficient. There’s typically no need to separately notify Amazon once it’s correctly added to your account details.
