Hi everyone,

we are currently going to sell on Amazon (non FBA). We are based in the Czech Republic, meaning the company is VAT registered in Czech. If I would like to sell on Amazon Germany, do we need to be VAT registered in Germany?

As well as another countries like Italy, UK? Is possible to sell to European countries from the Czech Republic? And is there any difference in case of FBA and non FBA?

Will appreciate any answers.

When doing FBA, you will need to register for the VAT in every country where your inventory is stored.

For FBM orders, you will need to check the distance selling tresholds in each country to see after exceeding which annual sales turnover you would be required to register.
