Anyone had a vat refund glitch take months and months to get ?
Someone I know had no VAT refund since March.
What vat refund?
My brother is my accountant. I am claiming back for fuel to post office etc. Refunded expenses.
This one’s so late the next one’s due, really ruined cash flow.

I am not aware of delays but as a seller, I owe more vat to the taxman than I claim on expenses so I always have to pay something.
You must be selling zero rated items to be able to claim more vat than you have to pay.

Yeah, it happens sometimes. HMRC or Amazon can take months to process VAT refunds, especially if there’s backlog or extra checks. Best to keep following up with support, but delays are quite common.
