Valuation of a seller account

I am considering selling my fba account, stock and limited company.

It started as a hobby and was ran as a business to allow me more maternity leave but I no longer have the time to invest!

How would I go about getting a value for it?

PL? Which marketplace?

Wholesale, UK and Europe.

Hmm. My opinion is it is worth value of stock only + maybe little extra if you have good suppliers / relationships. I would be wary to sell to anyone overseas as likely they will want to use your identity to continue selling.

But this is just my meaningless opinion with no experience of selling an Amazon account.

Thanks @Nurwais, I really appreciate your opinion 👍 and would definitely refrain from selling to an overseas buyer

If it is a Wholesale (WS) business and you have an established relationship that can be transferred along with product lines, then the value goes up.

If it is a Retail Arbitrage (RA) business, then in my opinion, it doesn’t add much value, even with replenishable items.

Private Label (PL) is a completely different game.

I suggest providing as much detail as possible in your post. For example:

  • How long the business has been established
  • The health of the business
  • Type of trade
  • Turnover for the last 12, 6, 3, and 1 month(s)
  • Profits for the same periods
  • Whether a prep center is used or not, as that can quickly eat into profits

Interested can you provide me more details?
