USDA organic products

Good day,

curious on your ideas or tips on being certified to sell USDA organic products in UK, or if there are other ways to do so?

Thanks

In the UK you generally cannot rely on USDA Organic certification alone to sell or label products as organic, because the UK requires certification through an approved UK organic control body, so to legally market a product as organic you would need to be certified by a UK organisation such as the Soil Association or a similar approved body and comply with their inspection and traceability rules.

You can import products that are USDA Organic, but to sell them as organic in the UK you usually need UK organic certification for the importer or handler, otherwise you must avoid making organic claims and logos in your listings and packaging.

Some sellers work with UK-certified importers or handlers to simplify this, while others sell the products without organic claims until they are ready to go through the UK certification process.
