Updates to Amazon Easy Ship policy, effective March 20

Announcement reposted from Amazon Mexico:

Effective March 20, 2025, we’ll update the Amazon Easy Ship program policy to streamline shipping operations and improve the customer experience.

Easy Ship provides you access to our delivery network with competitive rates, automated tracking, and Amazon Customer Service support.

Key changes include the following:

  • Simplified enrollment: New eligible sellers will be automatically enrolled in the program, while existing sellers can continue to use the service or opt out any time through Seller Central.
  • Expanded shipping methods: You can now either have packages picked up from your location or you can drop them off at authorized DHL agencies. Packages must not exceed 31.5 kg in weight or 100 cm per side. Heavy, bulky, and hazardous materials (Level 3-5) aren’t eligible.
  • Updated fee structure: Charges will now be based on actual package weight and dimensions. You’ll want to provide accurate package details, as incorrect information may result in fee adjustments. Repeated discrepancies could also impact your fulfillment options.
  • Improved customer service: We’ll now handle all Easy Ship-related customer inquiries, returns, and claims for you. We’ve also introduced automated tracking and delivery updates, along with a simplified reimbursement process for lost or damaged items.

For more information about these changes or to opt out, go to Amazon Easy Ship Program Policy.
