every time i try and put my iban and bic information into deposit methods and keep getting the error

Your old bank has most likely changed the IBAN since you first entered them. Amazon has the old one in the system so you need to find the old IBAN from an old statement and use that. Then put you new bank details in.
You can contact the Seller Support and they will offer you an option to verify your account by providing documents, instead of having to write the previous number in full.
