The screenshot is a case I just opened with Amazon.
Just last month, I had about 10 listings that were originally 3-packs suddenly become 24-packs.
The inventory had already been purchased and sent to Amazon based on the original listing information.
Customers won’t know the listing changed. They’ll just see “24-pack,” receive fewer units, and file complaints.
If you notice a major catalog change like this:
Close the listing immediately.
Gather proof of the original listing.
Open a case with Amazon Support.
Ask Amazon to investigate the catalog changes and document the issue.
Don’t assume Amazon’s catalog will stay the same after you’ve sourced inventory.
Sometimes it changes, and sellers are left dealing with the consequences.

I’ve had this happen in the past as well. A single item became a multipack, a couple multipacks changed quantities and one item the color and size were changed. I never thought to open a case for it. I recalled the items and listed on eBay.

I also have a few that that happened to just recently. In the meantime I closed them, and still need to open cases for each.

Sellerboard will notify you if a title changes.
I checked it all the way back to when the listing was first added to my inventory. No alert came.
The only alerts I see is about advertising opportunities in foreign marketplaces and the occasional reimbursement notification.
This is odd. I get many alerts every day. like when sellers on a listing increase or decrease. Saw a title change a few days ago. Probably settings somewhere to enable or disable alerts for different events.

Particularly with the changes upcoming with the title changes Amazon is doing on the 27 July - need to keep an eye on these type of changes.

Nice! Please keep us updated on if you’re able to get a resolution
Will do.
I got a lot of complaints from the 3 pack that became a 24 pack.
Lot’s spend to removal orders and refunds.
