In this, we increase our pricing at night times and decrease our price in the day times.

What benefits are listed below:

  • Increasing price gives you a chance of getting some extra bucks on your sales. For example, if a normal price of the product is $7.99, then you should increase it to $9.99.

  • By doing this, you can avoid Buy Box fights and give other sellers a chance to increase their prices as well. Ultimately, prices go high, and you will increase your overall profitability.

  • It also increases your chances of getting the Buy Box. Because when you match your price to a Buy Box price in the day times, there are high chances that you will get the Buy Box as soon as you match the price.

Note: It’s my own personal experience and always gets some extra bucks with this strategy.

Adjusting prices based on time of day might not work for all products. For household items or those in high demand on weekends, online shopping peaks during the day. It’s better to analyze trends specific to your product category.
