What if you have hundreds of listings?

Hello,

We’re reaching out with a reminder on important label guidelines for cosmetics.

To comply with US Food and Drug Administration requirements and Amazon policy, you’ll need to ensure your product listings are up to date by September 24. Listings that don’t meet the guidelines may be at risk of deactivation.

These guidelines help ensure that customers receive safe and trusted cosmetic products that meet all regulatory standards. Cosmetics are products that are usually rubbed, poured, sprinkled, or sprayed onto the body to cleanse, beautify, or change the appearance of the body. The cosmetics category includes products like perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, temporary tattoos, eye and facial makeup, shampoos, hair colors, toothpastes, and deodorants.

To remain compliant, your product listing detail page must contain the following:

  • A complete list of product ingredients, either through image or text (or both)
  • Drug facts, if the product or ingredient is classified as a drug
  • Product name, purpose, quantity, ingredients, and manufacturer information

Note: Changes made to the detail page and images can take up to two to four hours to reflect in our systems.

If you believe that your listings were incorrectly deactivated, you can go to Account Health, and select the appeal button next to the deactivated listing and include the following information:

  • “Cosmetics” in the subject line
  • List of affected ASINs
  • Confirmation that you have provided a complete list of product ingredients (and drug facts, if applicable)

To learn more about the compliance requirements, go to Cosmetics and Skin and hair care.

If you are selling bundles or PL it will be a pain but if you are selling products that Amazon was recently on you should be fine.

Have you submitted any mail or documents to amazon in response of this mail?
