There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account

Hello everyone,

I’ve been attempting to add 4 products to my inventory for nearly a month now, without success. Neither of the “add product” options, whether through Seller Central or using the Excel upload template, has been functioning for these 4 items. Each time, I encounter the error: “There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU… SKU xxx.yyy.zzz does not match any ASIN and contains invalid values for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN. New ASIN creation requires the following attributes, for which this SKU provided invalid attribute value(s): merchant_suggested_asin.”

Unfortunately, I’ve been running in circles with support without obtaining a concrete answer in any direction. Does anyone know how I can resolve this error?

I gave up and send my stuff back. Apparantly adding the product through a file upload can work. Didn’t for me
