Tax reports

Hi sellers,

for tax time, which report would you print out for your accountant, as this is a first for me in this area?

Thank you.

You will need the monthly payment reports and the 1099-K from the Tax Document Library if you received one. Also, grab sales, refunds, and ad spend reports from Seller Central. That’s all I give my accountant, and it works fine.

Yes, I heard about the 1099-k report.

For tax time, the key reports to provide your accountant from Amazon Seller Central are: (1) the “Date Range Reports” under Reports > Payments > Generate Report – this includes summary breakdowns for custom periods; (2) the “Monthly Transaction Reports” and “All Statements” , also under Payments; (3) your 1099-K form if you’re a US seller and meet the thresholds; (4) the “Tax Document Library” for VAT/GST summaries if applicable; and (5) optional but helpful: advertising reports (e.g., ad spend), refund reports , and inventory/COGS reports if you track stock. It’s best to download everything in CSV or PDF format and clarify with your accountant what format they prefer.
