Got a trip planned with the wife and kids out to Al Faya this Friday and I’m trying to make sure everything goes smoothly without any surprises. We’ve done a few desert drives before but always with friends who kind of led the way so now that I’m the one responsible for the whole trip I’m double checking everything. I’ve been reading through some tips for safe car use in sandy conditions on that uaebalancecheck website and it mentioned things like tire pressure and carrying extra water which I already planned for but I’m wondering about the less obvious stuff like how to keep the AC running efficiently when it’s really hot without stressing the engine too much. Also anyone know if the road to Al Faya is okay for a stock Pajero or should I be avoiding certain areas? Just want the kids to have a good time without any breakdown drama.
