Sudden Disbursement Not Instigated by Me

Since selling on Amazon (2014), the amount accumulated has ALWAYS disbursed every second week on a Monday and is in my bank account Thursday. The last disbursement was on the 20th of May 2019. All of a sudden today, at 01:48, I received an email advising me the disbursement has been successful (the standard disbursement email).

I was take aback by this as I wasn’t expecting the next disbursement until the 3rd of June, so I logged in to the site and can see that it is correct and the account to which has been disbursed is also correct (at least the last four digits are).

I have not requested this and it is no one else has access. Additionally, I have two-factor authentication setup.

Does anyone know how/why this happened? Has Amazon changed the frequency? The next disbursement is showing as the 3rd of June.

I don’t have real-time access to specific account information or the ability to check the status of Amazon disbursements. However, I can offer some general information that may help in understanding the situation:

  1. Check your disbursement settings: Verify your disbursement settings in your Amazon seller account to ensure they are set up correctly. Double-check the frequency and timing of disbursements to see if any changes were made. It’s possible that there may have been an adjustment or update to the disbursement schedule.
  2. Review recent account activity: Take a thorough look at your recent account activity and transactions. Check for any unexpected or unauthorized actions. If you notice any suspicious activity or discrepancies, it’s important to report them to Amazon Seller Support as soon as possible.
  3. Contact Amazon Seller Support: Reach out to Amazon Seller Support directly to inquire about the disbursement that was received earlier than expected. They will have access to your account information and can provide you with specific details and explanations regarding the disbursement schedule.
  4. Review communication from Amazon: Check your email and seller notifications for any communication from Amazon regarding changes to disbursement schedules or any other relevant information. Amazon typically sends out notifications to sellers regarding important updates or changes.
  5. Monitor future disbursements: Keep an eye on your future disbursements to see if they continue to align with the expected schedule. If you notice any consistent deviations or irregularities, it would be best to contact Amazon Seller Support for clarification.

Remember, these suggestions are general in nature, and it’s important to contact Amazon Seller Support for specific information related to your account and disbursements. They will be able to provide you with accurate and up-to-date information regarding any changes or unexpected disbursements.
