Curious if anyone has used this paid service? It’s supposedly invite only and we got invited. The sales pitch was pretty compelling but I wonder how much they deliver. Anyone out there using this?
It will be something like the other marketplace growth services, where you will receive a dedicated account representative to handle your Advertising / Sponsored Products or FBA, such as VAT registrations so you can store your inventory in different countries. Those who used the service told me that they found it to be a waste of time, as they still had to keep opening cases through Seller Support.
I’ve used the Amazon 360 programme which I think they renamed to Strategic Account Services. You get a dedicated account manager and can chat with them on phone, email and the Amazon video call service (Chime).
As Kika says, you still have to open cases to get help though I found that your account manager will do the casing up for you.
I think it could be useful if you have lots of own brand listings to create and/or adapt for different markets since the acocunt manager can push cases through for you. In one case, my manager helped another retailer get reviews transferred to a different ASIN in another market, that didn’t happen automatically as the different plug (UK/EU) made Amazon consider it a different product.
If you want to give yourself the best chance of growth and you don’t mind paying about £1000+ per month for six months then you could go for it.
I did it once and learned from it. I won’t do it again because why pay again to learn the same things again and it’s expensive for what it is, particularly coming on top of all the other Amazon fees
