Trueops only charge 10% commission and handle all the missing units etc. I would recommend them, they automate everything.
Ok, fabulous. Thanks!
Always reconcile everything missing.
Yes, it is absolutely worth opening a ticket with Amazon if you’re seeing stock deviations as large as 35 units, those discrepancies can significantly impact your financials, especially if Amazon has lost, miscounted, or failed to reconcile your inventory properly. Inbound discrepancies can occur due to receiving errors, mislabeled boxes, damage in transit, or internal warehouse issues.
First, go to your FBA shipments page, locate the affected shipment, and check the reconciliation tab to see what was received versus what was expected. If units are still listed as “missing” or “under investigation” after 14 days of delivery, you can open a case with Seller Support under “FBA Inventory > Missing or Damaged” and provide the shipment ID, box content details, and proof of quantity sent (like tracking and box-level information).
Amazon usually investigates and, if eligible, reimburses you based on your average selling price or declared unit value. Don’t let it slide—35 units missing can add up quickly.
Thank you!
How?
Shipment – contents, upload the invoice, and wait for their reply. If you use STK, just click on the notification from STK.
Thanks. What to do when I have a SellerBoard notification?
You have to raise a case, and sometimes follow up many many times trying to prove you are right.
Just go to their help videos and watch how to reconcile shipments.
