Started my Amazon FBM journey recently with just 1 SKU from a distributor to understand the real marketplace process

First week:

0 sales

Yesterday: 1 sale

Today: 7 sales from a single order 😅

I don’t even have a printer or packaging setup yet — literally shipping from UPS/FedEx counters instantly after orders come in.

My target is simple: complete first 50 sales even if I lose around $300 during the learning curve.

Right now I’m learning:* Amazon fees* shipping cost* dimensions* customer handling* inventory management* distributor sourcing* FBM operationsTrying to build this slowly and realistically instead of chasing “get rich quick” dreams.

Any advice from experienced sellers would be appreciated

Good start. Focus on consistency, track your true profit per order, and fix shipping/packaging setup early. Don’t scale until you fully understand costs and margins.

Good approach. Starting small and learning operations practically is much better than chasing quick profits. Just focus on account health, shipping cost control, and fast handling time. First 50 orders will teach you a lot.

Good, scale up and never relent
